September 18, 2015 the Center for Distance Learning KEUK was organized and carried out information and training seminar on "Online learning MOOС".
The presentation of the thematic material aimed at disseminating information on massive and open online courses (MOOС).
The aim of the seminar was to disseminate knowledge about MOOС at the university, that is MOOC what leading universities around the world offer free training now as MOOK can help in the learning process at the university.
The review of existing practices and trends were identified possible perspectives of development of this educational resource.
The seminar was attended by vice-rector, deans, heads of departments of the university, experts DLC KEUK. The Director of DLC – I.A. Amanov., deputy director – V.G. Drozd, head of the Chair "Higher Mathematics" – c.e.s., associate professor N.K. Emelina.
Students of 1 course of a specialty "Tourism" in the period from 09.06.2015 on 20.06.2015, the last academic practice (a training hike) in tourist-recreation town "Samal" in the Ile-Alatau National Park (Almaty).
As a result of passing the practical training, students learn the basics of organizing and conducting amateur hikers, training methods and techniques for hikers. The training campaign was a reference point in the development of the tourist The student-manager. With great interest the senior teacher6 c.ch.sc. G.M. Isabaeva conducted "Summer School» classes from 8th of June till 20th of June of 2015 for the students of specialty "Technology of production of livestock products" of Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov.
The relation of the theory with practice was evident. Within two weeks of attendance on the subject "Monitoring and evaluation of the quality of raw materials and food products" the students went on a trip to Karaganda milk factory "Natizhe", milling factory "Karakoz", where they learned the basics of technology and quality control of raw materials and goods, held organoleptic quality assessment, acquired the skills of physical and chemical methods of analysis.
In addition to listening to University's interesting lectures with slides and videos, they also conducted laboratory classes, where students were able to identify with
their own hands the quality of flour, bread, milk and other products in various ways.
Students performed independent work too: wrote essays, prepared assignments and slides.
Students said: "... we did not expect such a reception, interesting activities and even on-site at the company. We really enjoyed. We learned a lot, and most importantly, evaluated and monitored the quality of food products, which will certainly come in handy in our future careers, because we've worked with our own hands, seen with our own eyes and, of course, forever imprinted them in our memory. Thank you for everything".
World Environment Day was established by the UN General Assembly in 1972 and since then it is celebrated every year by the world community.
Ecologist's Day June 5 - a professional holiday for all conservationists, experts in environmental protection, all public figures - environmentalists and activists.
The General Assembly calls upon States and United Nations organizations on this day each year to carry out actions to support their desire to preserve and improve the environment. The date of this professional holiday is officially established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan"
Department of "Ecology and Assessment" with 1-2 course students of a specialty "Ecology" (15 people) organized a public action dedicated to "World Environment Day" in the Central Park of Culture and Rest of Karaganda c.
On June 15 at 10.00 o'clock in the main building of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk region together with the Institute of Economics of UB RAS (Ekaterinburg c.), a plenary session of the VI Ural demographic Forum "Demographic processes on the post-Soviet space" was held. As one of the co-organizers of this scientific event in the framework of a cooperation agreement became Karaganda Economic University. The organizing committee of the conference was presented by the Rector of our University d.e.sc., professor Aymagambetov E.B.

Tatarkin A.I. on behalf of the conference organizers handed to rector KEUK d.e.sc., Professor Aymagambetov E.B. the letter of grattitude in which in addition to gratitude for his help in organizing this event on such a high level, also were suggestions on the further development of scientific and educational cooperation between the regions of Russia and Kazakhstan through such joint activities.

From 10 to 12 June of 2015 in Astana in Nazarbayev University was held IV Eurasian Forum of higher education leaders "Graduate of the XXI century: the key competencies and the modern labor market". The main topics of the Forums' sessions were: "Global Skills", "Employment: personal aspirations and skills of graduates in terms of economic diversification", "Universities, employers and society: a partnership for mutual success", "Technical skills: through training or practice?", "Stages of adaptation: school, university, production". The forum was attended by Minister of Education and Science of the RK A.Sarinzhipov, president of the Association of Universities of Kazakhstan R.Alshanov, an international expert in the field of higher education Jamil Salmi (Morocco), Cambridge university Dean of the Faculty of Education Jeff Hevard, Nazarbayev University President Shigeo Katsu and others. Presentations of Forum speakers were devoted to discussion of the concept of youth employment. According to the participants of the Forum set of skills which will be needed in the future will differ from those that were in the past. The concept of the University should be reconstructed so as to become an integral part of the continuously changing network of like-minded institutions worldwide. Between June 8-9, 2015 in Astana on the basis of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev Ministry of Education and Science of RK together with the National Office of Erasmus+ in Kazakhstan held republican seminar on the theme "National Qualifications Framework: from architecture methodology to application practice". As part of the activities were conducted master classes by members of the National team of experts on reforming the higher education in Kazakhstan, as well as an exhibition of the results of Tempus projects, that are completed and ongoing in the universities of Kazakhstan.
Our university presented two Tempus projects: CANQA «Central Asian network of quality assurance and accreditation" and PERSEUS «Creating public benefit universities on the principle of Study-Science-Production".
On plenary session of the IX Education Week of member states of Shanghai Cooperation Organization under the motto "Education Without Borders" were determined basic work thesis of the SCO University in the forthcoming study year.
During the day, delegates from five countries, including Kazakhstan, combined with the activities of the network University, analyzed the work of Cooperation Organizations' direction groups, identified strengths and weaknesses, and sought for solutions to existing problems.
Assessing the trends in the development of SCOU, chairman of the Council of Rectors of the SCO University, rector of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University Vladimir Filippov particularly stressed that the main aspect of the organization is the quality of education, which can be improved only through joint efforts.
