SMART CITY QARAGANDA
On June 29-30, 2018 on the basis of Karaganda economic university of Kazpotrebsoyuz within memorandum with "Saryarka SEC" national company Hakakton has been carried out with main subjects "Safe city" and "Smart housing and public utilities". On the forum 24 projects have been submitted and were performed by their developers: students and young businessmen.
During two-day work of the Hackathon the winners who have received as prizes from 200 to 500 thousand tenges have been defined. Winners are:
1 place Temur Akhunzhanov from Almaty with "The clever on-door speakerphone" project;
2 place Victor Rudolf from Karaganda with "Union" project;
3 place Seydamet Suleymanov from Karaganda with "Smart quest" project.
Holding this action became one more contribution to integration of science and production, to maintenance of fruitful contacts between the university and "Saryarka SEC" national company and in formation of incentives for further joint productive work.
Advanced training courses on "Accredited Management Coach"
During the period from June 26 to June 29, a second stream of refresher courses was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz on the topic: "Accredited Management Coach" in the framework of the Erasmus + program. During the seminar the participants were leading teachers. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
"Business Management" courses for large entrepreneurs of the business environment of the Karaganda region
During the period from June 18 to June 22, the third stream of refresher courses on the topic "Business Management and Taxation" in the direction of the CCC within the framework of the Erasmus + program was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center in Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the seminar, the participants were 9 large entrepreneurs of the business environment of the Karaganda region. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Training courses on the subject: "Business management and taxation"
In the period from June 11 to June 15, the second stream of refresher courses on the topic "Business management and taxation" in the direction of the CCC within the framework of the Erasmus + program was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the seminar, 28thparticipants from large entities of small and medium-sized businesses in the Karaganda region. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
The professional development of the "Certified University Teacher"
In the period from 4 to 8 June, on the basis of the international CACTLE Center in Karaganda Economic University, Kazpotrebsoyuz, paid courses were organized for the professional development of the "Certified University Teacher" in the direction of CUT in the framework of the Erasmus + program. During the seminar the participants were 39 leading teachers of universities in Karaganda, Almaty and Temirtau. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Scientific online seminar on stimulating entrepreneurial activity in tourism and activating human resources
The Department for Additional and Post-Graduate Education and the International Programs, Projects and Academic Mobility Center, as well as with Economics and Entrepreneurship Chair between Management and Innovations Chair have conducted an online seminar with foreign scientific advisers of PhD students on specialty of Economics and Management on the 13th of June, 2018.
Foreign scientific adviser of the PhD students D. Salauatova, B. Tasbulatova is a doctor of economics, professor of the Department of Tourism and Social and Cultural Service of the Belgorod National State Scientific Research University (Russia) O.K. Slinkova. During the discussion of the problems of dissertational works of the PhD students have made speeches domestic scientific advisers doctor of economics, professor T.P. Pritvorova and doctor of economics, professor A. Tleuberdinova. The scientific online seminar held is of great practical importance both for the applicants themselves, and for representatives of KEUK and SRU BelSU.
Foreign scientific internship of the PhD student of the Karaganda Economic University Kazpotrebsoyuz in Prague
From May 27 to June 9 2018, PhD student of specialty 6D051000 «State and Local Administration» Stavbunik Elena passed a scientific internship at Prague University of Economics.
During the scientific training, the thematic seminars «Influence of innovation policy of the state on the development of human resources and their potential in the conditions of the European Union» (PhD, Yana Kourzhilova), «The current state of the regions of the Czech Republic in the context of the Strategy for Innovative Development until 2020» Department of Regional Studies Petr Toth). Doctoral student Stavbunik E. took part in the master-class of the famous professor Tomas Matula «Participation and interaction of state institutions in creating a favorable innovation climate for an innovative business in the Czech Republic». Very interesting and fruitful was the meeting of our doctorate with the leadership of the Investment Agency of the Czech Republic and the employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. During the meeting, the doctorate was given the opportunity to learn about the features of investing innovative projects in the Czech Republic, as well as strategic programs for the innovative development of Czech enterprises.
International conference was held in the city of Rostov-on-Don at the Don State Technical University "Driving the regional economy: new universities" tools and technologies
From May 27 to May 29, 2018, an international conference was held in the city of Rostov-on-Don at the Don State Technical University "Driving the regional economy: new universities" tools and technologies, planned in the framework of the Erasmus+ (projects Establishment of the centers of competence and employability development - COMPLETE and European Dimension in Qualifications for the Tourist Sector – EurDiQ).
The conference was attended by project partners from 9 countries, such as Great Britain, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.
During the conference trainings were conducted by Ms. Yianna Orphanidou and Dr. Melpo Iacovidou University of Nicosia (Cyprus) and an external expert from the United Kingdom Simon Jones.
On the second day of the conference, a planned meeting was held within the project “Establishment of the centers of competence and employability development – COMPLETE” with an external expert Simon Jones.
On the basis of the presentations prepared by the partners on the Center, the external expert Dr. Simon Jones gave an evaluation of the results of the Centers’ work.
Upon termination of trainings certificates to participants have been given out.
ACTION "VIEW THE FUTURE"
On May 25, 2018 the Department of Ecology and Evaluation organized a quiz and cultural program within the framework of the action "A Look into the Future". The action took place on the territory in front of TH Abzal in Karaganda. According to the results of the blitz-poll conducted earlier in social networks "Touchan zher", its winners received diplomas and memorable prizes. These events were conducted with the aim of popularizing and familiarizing the city's population with the Ruhani zhenhyru program.
Working visit within the framework of the CACTLE project in KEUK
On May 29, 2018, within the framework of the CACTLE project (Central Asian Center for Teaching, Learning and Entrepreneurship), PhD, senior lecturer of the Management Department of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Gerhart Geisler visited the Karaganda University.
