PROGRAM OF ACADEMIC EXCHANGE " MEVLANA "(TURKEY) for the 2020-2021 academic year

Dear students, graduates and teachers of the University!

We invite you to participate in the academic exchange program "Mevlana" (Turkey) for the 2020-2021 academic year. According to the Protocol of the exchange program "Mevlana" mobility will be carried out in the following specialties: "Economics", "Management", "International relations", "World economy", "Tourism and restaurant business" to the University of Anadolu (Anadolu). To Yildirim Bayazit University of Ankara (Ankara) the specialties as "Economics", "International relations", "Social work", "Law", "Computer Science" may be chosen.
Duration of academic mobility for teachers is 14 days, for students - 1 semester.
The Mevlana program provides delivering of lectures in English paid by the Turkish side at Anadolu University (Anadolu) and Yildirim Bayazit University of Ankara (Ankara). Teachers who do not intend to give lectures at universities in Turkey cannot participate in the program. Payment of travel expenses is provided.
Requirements for teachers:
- knowledge of English (supporting certificate), knowledge of Turkish is a plus.
Requirements for students:
- knowledge of English (language certificate), knowledge of Turkish is a plus;
- average score for undergraduate students: minimum 2.50 - 4.00;
- the average score for graduate students: a minimum of 3.00 to 4.00.

Summer School at the University of Mendel in Brno (Czech Republic)

Dear students, Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic) invites everyone to join the Mendel Summer School 2020, filled with an amazing program and events. The call for applications for the Latvian state study and research scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021 will be open on 1 February 2020. All relevant information is published on the website of the State Education Development Agency http://www.viaa.gov.lv/scholarships (Section “Studies” and “Research”). The Application form (to be found on the above mentioned website) and the necessary documents for study or research scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021 should be submitted to the State Education Development Agency via on-line application system, which will be open on 1 February 2020. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarships for studies and research is 1 April 2020.
The call for applications for the Latvian state summer school scholarships for the summer 2020 will be open on 1 February 2020. Information on summer schools where foreign students and academic staff can participate with the Latvian state scholarship will be published by the 1.February 2020 on the website of the State Education Development Agency http://www.viaa.gov.lv/scholarships (Section “Summer Schools”). The necessary documents for the summer schools must be sent directly to the organizers of the summer schools and they will inform all the applicants about the results of the scholarship competition. The application deadline for the Latvian state scholarship for summer schools is 1 April 2020.
