In Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz within the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan and the celebration of Nowruz in the gym was held a family competition "Dad, Mom, I – a sports family". 5 teams, representing 4 faculties and College of economics, business and law have come together to compete in strength and agility, speed and endurance. And the most important thing was to get to know and make friends with each other.
First place went to the team of the Faculty of accounting and finance – Matushkin family.
Second place went to the team of the Faculty of business and law - Esimov family.
Third place was shared by the team of the Faculty of economics and management – Akshulakov family, Informational-technical faculty - Beisenalin family and the team of the College of economics, business and law – Kasymbekov family.
The teams were awarded with prizes: Multivarka "Redmond", a sewing machine "Brother" and thermopots.
On March 12, 2015 in the dormitory №3 was conducted the Recitation Contest on the theme: "My favorite poem" (about the Motherland, about spring, love, etc.). Contest participants read poems written by different poets and their own compositions.

On March 4, 2015 by the Faculty of Economics and Management Department of Economics and Management was conducted regional olimpiad on economics between students of schools and colleges.

From 2 to 11 March of 2015 2 course masters of the 6M030100 "Jurisprudence" and 6M030400 "Customs business" specialties have passed scientific training at the St. Petersburg State University of Economics (Russian Federation) on "The system of legal regulation in the Customs Union" theme.
During the program there were listened cycle of lectures by leading university lecturers on jurisprudence: d.e.sc., professor Malevich Y.V., d.l., professor Biernackiy G.G., d.l., professor Novikov A.B., c.l., docent Ivanyuzhenkov A.B., c.l., professor Mosin E.F. and others. The main issues that were reviewed in the framework of scientific training: the important issues of the Customs Union, the international legal cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, the actual problems of the criminal proceedings in the EurAsEC countries, criminal legal methods of combating corruption, problems of legislation in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Community and etc. The practical component of the internship was organized on the basis of cross-border customs post MAPP "Svetogorsk" and checkpoint "Marine Facade".
The afternoon was devoted to undergraduates on conducting research in the university's library and for getting acquainted with the sights of St. Petersburg.
On 6 March famous Kazakh singer, songwriter and producer Erlan Kokeyev performed at KEU and congratulated all women on the International Women's Day - the celebration of spring, love and tenderness!
On March 19, 2015 at the Palace of students' culture was held a concert dedicated to the celebration of "Nauryz Meiramy" - that is one of the most brilliant and warm events in our university, organized with special awe and attention. On that day from the bottom of her heart congratulated us People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Asar. It was a wonderful and beautiful concert with her participation.
