November 30, 2018 in KEUK Department "Banking management and financial markets" held the Republican subject Olympiad "Leader-Financier of the XXI century" among students of Universities of Kazakhstan, Russia and students of colleges and schools, dedicated to the day of financier.
Among the invited Universities took an active part, Kuban Krasnodar, NARKHOZ., Almaty, KazNTU im.S. Seifullin, Astana, ENU.L. N. Gumilev, Astana. Also among the invited guests were top managers of BWI and LLP of Karaganda, students of KEUK, students of colleges of CABP and KTL №1.
Subject olymipad consisted of 3 rounds (the"project presentation", "the magnificent seven" and "zhorga").
The Olympics were held in a bitter struggle. All teams once again showed excellent knowledge in the field of Finance.
According to the results of the Republican subject Olympiad "Leader-Financier of the XXI century" places are distributed as follows:
1st place: Kuban Krasnodar, NARKHOZ., Almaty
2nd place: KazATU, Astana, Eurasian national University, Astana, Karaganda, KEUK
3-place: CTL Karaganda and CABP
The next subject Olympiad is traditionally planned in 2019 year.
The Department SW and APK the part of career guidance held an Open doors day for students of the specialty "Social work" Karaganda Bank College. During the meeting, students were provided with information about the goals, objectives, content of the educational program "Social work" and employment prospects in the field of social services. The special attention of students was attracted by the activities of Educational, research and production complex "Damu" at the Department SW and APK as evidence of systematization and quality training.
During the tour the students were introduced with the activities of the informational-educational center, the center for student services, laboratories, Museum exhibits are invited. A special impression on the students was made by the office of "Digital learning technologies"and the possibility of digitalization of social services.
The meeting was fruitful, the students expressed a desire to continue working together through the Distance school "Social work" at the Department of SW and APK to prepare for the UNT and participate in events in other formats.
On the basis of too Diversified medical center "Hippocrates" in the Rehabilitation and health center "LIFE IN" head of Department "Social work and the ANC" Abdakimova M. K. and senior lecturer, Alpysbaeva M. B. conducted the field trip for the students of specialty "Social work". Associate Professor of "General legal and special disciplines" department, candidate of legal Sciences Baykenzhina K.A. and the student of 22k group Kaliyeva Akerke have visited Zhezkazgan College of business and transport and held a meeting with graduate student groups and their parents. During the meeting, the teacher gave explanations about the order of admission to the University, preparation for entrance exams, demonstrated a video about KEUK. In an informal setting, in the form of discussion and exchange of views, issues that are particularly relevant to the younger generation: education and employment, vision of themselves and their role in the construction of modern Kazakhstan. Kaliyeva Akerke told about her student life, as well as about the opportunities that the University has for active and creative students. During the conversation, College graduates expressed a desire to visit our University and see the sights of our city.
After the meeting for students of the 2nd and the 3rd courses of specialty "Jurisprudence" was held intellectual game "The destiny of a language is a nations` destiny".
From the 20th of November to the 28th of November, 2018 in the framework of the Agreement of cooperation between Karaganda Economic University (Kazakhstan) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia), seventeen staff members of Karaganda Economic University completed the advanced training on the additional professional advanced training program on theme “Educational Management at University 4.0” for a total of seventy two academic hours. Upon completion of the successful completion of the course, participants were presented with certificates of the established sample.
A master class on the preparation of fruit lemonade was held for the pro-adaptation of students of the 1st year or specialty "Restaurant and Hotel Business".
Student of group RD-23s Mozgovoi Alexandr in his spare time working as a barman in the restaurant "Villa Borgeze". For the students of RD-12, RD-15s group - curator Alekseenko T.N., Alexandr conducted a master class on the preparation of natural fruit lemonade, told how to prepare and serve lemonade, held a tasting. Teachers of the Department «Social work and APK», students of «Social work» and «Basics of law and Economics» discussed the main provisions of the Program article of the President of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev «Seven faces of the great steppe».

The Department of Ecology and assessment held a training seminar for students" communicative culture: employer – graduate". Our guests became interested in the competencies of our graduates and invited them to their enterprises for practical training with further employment.
The Department of "Ecology and assessment" held an intellectual game "leader appraiser - 2018" among students of colleges and universities of Karaganda.

Intellectual game consisted of 4 rounds:
I round of "HOMEWORK". Each team presented itself in the form of power point. They talked about their team and the relevance of the specialty "Assessment".
Round II "WHAT? Where? When?". The teams answered questions about the future specialty.
Round III "COMPETITION of CAPTAINS". Team captains competed in knowledge of the intricacies of the profession "Appraiser".
IV tour "CROSSWORD". The most exciting part of the game, consisting of 20 questions, mainly in the specialty "Assessment".
At the end of the game the places were distributed as follows:
1st place-Karaganda economic University;
2nd place-Karaganda state technical University;
3rd place-College of Economics, business and law KEU.
