From 12 to 16 October 2026, Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted “MARKETING & LOGISTICS WEEK: From Idea to Results”, organised by the Department of Marketing and Logistics.
Organised by the Department of Marketing and Logistics within the Faculty of Finance, Logistics and Digital Technologies, the event aimed to develop students’ professional competencies, strengthen cooperation between the university and the business community, promote the Marketing and Logistics degree programmes, and engage students in research and practice-oriented activities.
The programme comprised five themed days featuring professional site visits, intellectual and business simulation games, a team-building workshop, a research conference and a closing awards ceremony.

12 October — START DAY: Introduction Day. As part of “The Profession from Within: Marketing & Logistics in Real Business”, students visited the QazTehna plant and the Saryarqa television channel. The visits introduced students to the organisation of production processes, the operations of modern enterprises and the media industry. Direct exposure to professional settings helped them gain a deeper understanding of their future careers.
The visit to the Saryarqa television channel immersed future marketing professionals in the media environment, introducing them to television production, news content creation and the ways modern media organisations operate.
13 October — DISCOVER DAY: Discovery Day. The UniQuest intellectual game, “Discover the University. Discover Your Profession”, brought together university students and pupils from School and Supplementary Education Centre No. 5. Participants demonstrated their general knowledge, teamwork and creativity in completing the tasks. The event proved an effective career guidance activity, introducing school pupils to the university and in-demand fields of study.
14 October — PRO DAY: Professions Day. First-year students on the Logistics and Marketing degree programmes took part in “Route to Success”, an interactive business simulation game designed to develop analytical thinking, decision-making and teamwork skills.
A psychological workshop focused on building team spirit was also held. The practical component of the day included visits to KSER LLP (KSEP) and the city’s railway station, where students learned about the organisation of logistics processes and the operation of transport infrastructure.
15 October — RESEARCH DAY: Science and Ideas Day. The university hosted the International Conference “Forum of Young Researchers”. The conference gave participants an opportunity to present their research findings, exchange ideas and demonstrate their ability to build evidence-based academic arguments. The event helped foster a research culture, critical thinking and students’ interest in research.
“MARKETING & LOGISTICS WEEK: From Idea to Results” brought together education, research and professional practice. Participation enabled students to broaden their professional horizons, develop communication, analytical and research skills, strengthen their teamwork competencies and gain insight into the actual requirements of today’s labour market.
Initiatives of this kind support practice-oriented learning, strengthen the university’s partnerships with employers and develop the professional potential of future marketing and logistics specialists.
The Department of Marketing and Logistics thanks the university and faculty leadership, partners, lecturers, students and volunteers for their active participation and contribution to the success of the week.
