Every year the Karaganda Economic University participates in the rating of educational programs held by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken". By order of the Ministry of Education and Science, its experts rank all universities in Kazakhstan with the involvement of employers.
The main criteria for the rating of NPP "Atameken": the percentage of employed graduates and their average salary, as well as the duration of job search after graduation. Career prospects, EP quality and student achievements were also taken into account.
Of the 18 educational programs of our university that participated in the assessment, 7 entered the "ten" best among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1st place - Food technology
3rd place - Customs
4th place - Standardization and certification
6th place - Marketing
7th place - International relations
8th place - Logistics
9th place - Restaurant business
In addition, State and local government - 11th place, Information systems - 15th place, Jurisprudence - 17th place, Tourism - 20th place
Note that the results of this rating allow, including applicants, to assess the demand for a future specialty, see the average salary, and assess how easy it will be to find a job.

On January 8, 2021, candidate of technical sciences, professor of the department of “Marketing and Logistics”, and concurrently chief researcher Scientific Research Institute for Economic and Legal Research Sarzhanov Dauren Kazhabergenovich held a scientific seminar for teachers, graduates and doctoral students of KEUK. Seminar included the consideration of issues of the projects’ structure, where to start the submission of application, and how to secure it in the NCSTE(National center of science and technology evaluation) via https://is.ncste.kz/login
Following questions were asked during the discussion:
- structure of projects, especially the economic part;
- accreditation of an individual as a subject of scientific and scientific and technical activities through the PSC (public service center) and the EGOV.KZ portal (https://egov.kz/cms/ru/services/accreditation/pass205_mon);
- registration of a package of documents for free registration of ISBN through the Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, http://kitap-palatasy.kz/;
- a registration mechanism and obtaining certificates of intellectual property and other documents of title through the portal of the National Institute of intellectual property (https://kazpatent.kz/ru)
On January 11, 2021, the IELTS preparation course was launched for KEUK teachers and potential applicants who want to enter the doctoral program.
In anticipation of the upcoming elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of Parliament and maslikhats of the Department "Legal regulation of economic relations" and "Compulsory and special disciplines of the faculty of Business, law and technology" in the period from 30 November to 25 December 2020 held a series of webinars on the topic of "Electoral law and electoral system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for students of all educational programs of the University.
As part of the webinars, the main provisions of Kazakhstan's legislation on the organization and conduct of elections were explained to the student community. Students are familiar with the constitutional guarantees of the right to vote, enshrined in article 33 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

25 Dec 2020 on the basis of the Karaganda economic University Kazpotrebsoyuz held regional Olympics among students of legal specialties of Karaganda, devoted to the 20 anniversary of the adoption of the constitutional law "On judicial system and status of judges".
In the team competition, the team of the Karaganda economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz "Yuristokraty", as part of the team: Akhmetova Adilzhan of the group Yu-44, Goryaeva Elizaveta Yu-44, Shubaev Adil Yu-42K, Petrova Anastasia Yu-18-7C. we took the second place of honor!
4-year student of the faculty of business, law and technology Akhmetov Adilzhan was recognized in the best captain category. In the essay contest, organized within the framework of this sports contest, students of the group Yu - 44 Goryaeva E. and Alkenova Zh. group Yu-41k were awarded certificates of honor for the III place.

From October 15 to November 24, 2020, THE Federal state BUDGETARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION of HIGHER EDUCATION "PLEKHANOV RUSSIAN University of ECONOMICS" PERM INSTITUTE (branch) held the IX all-Russian (with international participation) scientific and practical conference "Modern trade: theory, practice, innovation". T. S. Aimbetova, a student of me-42, and B. E. Blyalov, a senior lecturer of the Department of Management and innovation, took an active part in this conference.
According to the results of the conference, the scientific work of our participants was evaluated at a high level. Aimbetova T. S. received a certificate of participation and a diploma of the 1st degree for the best report. On December 24, 2020 in the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module No. 600571-EPP-1-2018-1-KZ-EPPJMO-MODULE “Theory and Practice of European Integration” the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz arranged an international online roundtable on “Relevant Issues of Regional Integration: an Experience of the EU and ЕАEU”.
The event was organized by the working group of Jean Monnet Module “Theory and Practice of European Integration”, the Department of World Economy and International Relations and the Faculty of Economics, Management and Entrepreneurship. It was attended by Kazakhstani and foreign scientists, prominent state and public figures, business community, experts, academic and administrative staff, and students of the University.

The holder of this title was a senior lecturer of the Department of "Social work and ANК" KEUK, PhD tutinova N.E., who took part in the traditional competition for the title "Best teacher of the year-2020", held by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National research center "Bilim orkeneti".
The competition was held within the framework of the execution of the message Of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. K. Tokayev "multi-Vector public dialogue-the basis of development and prosperity of Kazakhstan" among teachers of Kazakhstan.

On December 22, 2020, the head of the Department of commodity science and certification, Professor yesenbayeva G. A. and Professor Kakenov K. S. took part in an online meeting with the leadership of the Karaganda branch of the RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology" (Kazstandart) on joint work in the field of standardization, Metrology and certification. The meeting was opened by the Director of CF RSE "Gosstandart" Ahmerov R. M., who presented the activities of the new Institute of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, created as a result of reorganization by merger of RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and certification" and RSE "Kazakhstan Institute of Metrology". During the meeting, with the active participation of the chief specialist of the KF RSE "Kazstandart" D. I. Kusainov, a specialist of the RSE at the PHV "Kaazakhstan Institute of standardization and Metrology"(Kazstandart) A. M. Ilyasov. representatives of the Department of commodity science and certification discussed the main directions and prospects of cooperation of the Karaganda economic University with KF RSE "Kazstandart".
