Erasmus+ CirculEC: Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz in Naples
From 10–12 September, the final international meeting of the Erasmus+ CirculEC project brought together partners from Europe and Central Asia in Naples.
Together, we reviewed the results of piloting new and adapted courses and discussed how to further strengthen their practical dimension - particularly Module 2, developed by the University of Naples Federico II.
A special highlight was our visit to Bagnoli, a former industrial area undergoing an ambitious green transformation. The KarUK team saw first-hand how environmental regeneration, industrial heritage, and new social and economic opportunities can come together to create a more sustainable future.
The experience gained in Bagnoli will help enrich Module 2 with real-world case studies and bring the principles of the circular economy closer to practice.
At the final meeting, KarUK presented the results achieved across all project work packages and discussed the long-term sustainability of the project outcomes.
