On January 17, the Information Day “Library and Department: Facets of Partnership” was held at the library of the KarU of Kazpotrebsoyuz in the scientific and educational center for the Faculty of Economics, Management and Entrepreneurship.
The university library contributes to the educational process, educational activities, provides the educational process and scientific research. The library becomes the center of information support for current educational and research processes, and the activities carried out by the library create conditions for obtaining and updating knowledge oriented towards the future.
The XIII Republican Subject Olympiad was held among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Student performance was assessed on the basis of individual scores for each subject.
Students on the educational program "State and local government" Seypilova A.A., Zhenis A.R., Abdrakhmanova A.K., were awarded a diploma of the III degree at the XII Republican subject Olympiad.

12/29/2021 at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz a round table was held with the participation of representatives of the scientific societies Amanat, Parasat, Zerde on the topic: "Student scientific society at the university: problems and development prospects", which discussed topical problems of student science.
Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoz closely cooperates with large companies in the region. On December 22 and 24, 2021, a meeting with the head of the Personnel Department of Pharm LLP took place at the university the company "Amanat".
The representative of the company spoke about the main activities of the company, voiced the requirements for the company's employees, outlined the necessary skills and competencies, answered students' questions about social guarantees of employees, the recruitment procedure. A preliminary selection of applicants was conducted among interested parties.

The qualitative improvement of social protection strategies and new social security systems requires the implementation of new approaches and content in the training of social work specialists. The quality of training social workers at a university cannot be ensured without the active participation of the professional community. The Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work develops close cooperation and interaction with the National Alliance of Professional Social Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the charter of which sets out the task of promoting social work, its status and prestige, as a profession.
At the national winter school on social work named «Professionalization of teaching social work using the approach of rehabilitation at the community level in Central Asia» valuable knowledge was gained - about a two-pronged approach for an inclusive society about the technology of social rehabilitation of people with disabilities at the community level based on the international classification of functioning, case management tools in community rehabilitation programs, and the competencies of a community rehabilitation worker.
The Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work of the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz expresses its gratitude to the executive director of the National Alliance of Professional Social Workers - Dinara Yessimova - and her team for promoting social work as a profession in Kazakhstan and will make every effort for high-quality training of specialists in the education system, social protection and health care for the organization of social work at the community level.
