REPORT ON THE PROGRESS OF STUDIES AT THE JANOS KODOLANY UNIVERSITY, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY UNDER THE PROGRAM OF ACADEMIC MOBILITY

REPORT ON THE PROGRESS OF STUDIES AT THE JANOS KODOLANY UNIVERSITY, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY UNDER THE PROGRAM OF ACADEMIC MOBILITY

I, Kravtsova Arina, a 3rd year student of the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, specializing in World Economy, returned from the Janos Kodolany University (Hungary), where I studied for one semester under the academic mobility program from February 20, 2020 to May 25, 2020. In accordance with the educational agreement, 30 credits are credited to my transcript; the number of subjects passed is 6:
Accounting Fundamentals
International Business Law and Regulation
International Project Management
Green Economy 1 - Environmental and Alternative Economics
International Law
Green Economy 3 - Sustainable Business Model Innovation
University named after Janos Kodolany is the largest private university in Hungary. The relationship with the teachers and staff of the university developed very well, they supported us in everything, willingly went to meet us. At the end of March, we switched to distance education due to the pandemic, the organization and process of distance learning was at a high level. We also worked in teams, created our own projects and protected them. I am very grateful to the Hungarian University for excellent teaching, help in any questions and attitude. Our group consisted exclusively of foreign (for Hungary) students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, many countries of the European Union and even Mexico, Japan and Brazil. All the guys were determined not only to study together and help each other in their studies, but also to communicate outside the classrooms, to learn about the culture of other countries. It was also a valuable experience for me. The most vivid impression was left by the teacher of disciplines: Environmental and Alternative Economics, Sustainable Business Model Innovation- Dr. Horváth Bálint, who turned out to be an incredible person with a lot of experience and professional knowledge. Giving us various creative assignments and raising current, today, questions and problems in lectures, he increased our interest in his subjects and topical global issues and their solution.
Having successfully passed the session, I received high scores, confirming my professional knowledge. Of course, at first there were difficulties, but then I got used to the educational system at the university. It is very interesting to get to know another culture and traditions get experience in education abroad and meet different people from different countries. Therefore, I recommend to all students: do not miss the opportunities for development and personal growth.
I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to our university and rector, Yerkar Balkaraevich Aimagambetov, for the opportunity given to study at one of the best foreign universities, as well as to our International Center, which helped with all the documentation and emerging issues.

At the University, I studied such subjects as Business English, Entrepreneurship, Money, banking and financial markets, Marketing, and Modern trends in human resource management – HR management.
Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is the first school of higher education in Bulgaria. It is named after Archbishop Kliment of Ohridski, one of the founders of Slavic writing. It was founded in 1888. The modern building was built in 1924-1934. It has 16 faculties, 3 departments. The faculty where I studied is called the Stopan faculty.
The University included many students from different countries. All courses were conducted by experienced teachers in English. In the course of my studies, working together with other students, I was able to learn a lot of new and interesting things, including the culture of different countries, as well as tell about the culture and traditions of my country for other students. In addition to studying, I visited various beautiful places with my new friends.
The knowledge I have gained will be useful to me in my future career choice and in everyday life. And the experience of mobility has undoubtedly made me more independent and responsible.
I would like to express my gratitude to my University, the center for academic mobility, and our rector Aimagambetov Yerkara Balkarayevich for the opportunity to study at one of the most prestigious universities in Bulgaria.

In university I have studied such subjects as:
• Business English
• Money, Banking and Financial markets

• Contemporary trends in HR management
Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is one of the largest and most respected universities in Sofia. At the moment, the university has 16 faculties, whose buildings are located throughout the city. The university also has its own computing and sports centers, as well as structures to support students' professional and cultural activities.
The studying was held in English. In addition to Bulgarian students, classes were attended by students from France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Japan and the USA. The educational process was interesting and informative. During the classes, professors used various methods, technologies and did everything possible to interestingly and fully convey the taught material to students. This also contributed to a high level of knowledge of the English language. Indeed, often students asked additional questions during the training. To which we have always been given competent and explanatory answers, in connection with which during the training there were no misunderstandings.
Final grades were set taking into account project and research works, mid-term and final exams, and the student’s attendance and overall performance during classes were also taken into account.
In our free time, in addition to classes, we visited various cultural events, architectural and historical monuments, thereby getting acquainted with the culture of Bulgaria. During the winter holidays, we also managed to visit Romania. We have visited and walked the streets of cities such as Bucharest, Brasov, Sinai, personally saw Bran Castle and Peles Castle.
The knowledge and experience gained during the education will be useful to me in the following years of studying, in my future career and everyday life. The time spent at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and in Sofia, in particular, positively influenced me and my personal qualities. I gained invaluable experience, gained knowledge, improved my communication skills, and also got acquainted with the culture and customs of this country.
In conclusion, I would like to express my deep gratitude to our university and to our rector Aymagambetov Yerkara Balkaraevich for the opportunity, as well as to the center for international programs and academic mobility for help and advice during the preparation for the trip.
